Free Penny Stock Picks – Don’t Chase Them (Suggestions for Thursday 3/12/09)

Don’t chase a penny stock, let them come to you!

One of our suggestions for Wednesdays list of free penny stock picks went up over 90% and closed up over 58% (GNBT was identified at .28 on the list of free penny stock picks).  Within the first few minutes of today’s market open it was at .36 and started to hesitate.  I watched it pull back and grabbed some at .3051 (I typically wait 10 to 30 minutes after market open before entering into a new position).  Later in the day it moved up near the 200Day MA (.54 high) and then pulled back.  It’s best not to chase a penny stock, let them come to you based on technical or psychological signals.  And if you chase it up to another technical signal (like the 200Day MA) you should be selling that penny stock not buying it.  Sometimes, I just place a buy limit order at support and walk away (like today I scored KWBT at .0010).  There is always another day and more free penny stock picks everyday, so take your time and don’t rush or force a trade (just be ready to act when the time is right).  Also, remember to take your profits!  Please refer to our articles in the Education section for additional details.
