Got Gas? US Natural Gas and More
Posted on June 30, 2009 by Penny Stocks Picker
Blood in the streets and Natural Gas trading at about $3.87/MMBtu. I’m buying me some natural gas.
UNG @ $13.87 (US Natural Gas Exchange Traded Fund invests in natural gas futures contracts traded on the NYMEX in which the near month contract is set to expire. If you want to invest in natural gas but can’t decide on 1 stock then this is for you. Traded as high as $63.10 just about 1 year ago and has pulled back and consolidated at around $14.00. Looks like a bottom has formed with a recent triangle pattern and the price is at the apex and ready to breakout. I do note that the price today did gap down at open to break the downside of the triangle pattern and was unable to break back in, so we could see it test $13.29 (possibly $12.69 but doubt it) before it moves back up. The risk to reward on this looks favorable for the long term investor).
MGLG @ .0013 (Magellan Energy has a goal to establish itself as a world-class oil and natural gas company. I’m still holding a decent position in this and now think .0010 is solid support. I’m betting on a move up in natural gas and MGLG.)
ERHE @ .60 (ERHC Energy an independent oil and gas company focused on exploration. The uptrend in this chart is impressive. Looks like it’s consolidating and getting ready to make it’s next move.)
SYMW @ .002 (Sympowerco Corporation is an energy technology company focused on the design and development of clean and practical power and energy solutions. Nice volume and price breakout. Might consider letting this comeback and fill the gap at .0015 which should be support.)
EWKS @ .0011 (Earthworks Entertainment is an entertainment company. News today resulting in volume breakout followed with a modest price increase breaking above the recent down trend. Lots of chatter on this one.)
ARTI @ .0052 (Artfest international. Most volume ever and strong price move.)

Always helpful info. As a new investor, how would I buy on the bid price, instead of the ask? And how would I sell on the ask, instead of the bid?
In order to buy at the bid you will need to place a “Buy Limit” order and set your limit price at the bid and to sell at the ask you will need to place a “Sell Limit” order and set the limit price at the ask. In both cases you will need to be patient and have a take it or leave attitude. If you must have it now then set your “Buy Limit” at the ask vice versa for the sell. Please refer to my article titled “The Bid, The Ask and The Market Maker Basics” dated May 30th, 2009 for more details.
